Congratulations Josh!

 

 

EMT Brown is registered in the Paramedic program at the Center for
Emergency Medicine.  The program will begin in August 2008 and commence
in May 2009.  Josh is the first employee of ETA-EMS to be have his
Paramedic education fully sponsored.  In essence, for the period of time
that Josh is attending training, he will work very limited hours on the
units.   Josh's primary focus will be his education.  We wish Josh the
best in this venture.  We will miss his clinical contributions during
this period.
 

Dr. Allen Schattner was a pioneer in the filed of Pre-hospital emergency
medicine.  Many of the veteran Paramedics in Western PA attribute their
careers to the education they received from Dr. Schattner.
 

This $500 scholarship is given by the Allegheny County EMS Council  for deserving
individuals who are enrolled in a Paramedic program.
