Congratulations to Patrick Stouffer on attaining certification as an
Emergency Medical Technician (EMT). Pat became certified on July 1, 2008

EMT Stouffer joined our staff on 9/25/2006 as a Coach Operator. Since
day one, Pat's compassion for people and "Get it done" attitude has made
him a very important member of our TEAM. In fact, it is not
uncommon to have patients call to request that Pat accompany them during
their next wheelchair transport. We are confident that Pat's many
quality attributes will make him an excellent EMT as well.

ETA-EMS is
an active participant in PA Region 4 EMS Strike Team. The team
is comprised of 13 ambulance services from the western part of PA.
The primary mission of PA ST-1 is the transport of patients during a
disaster event. PA ST-1 was actively involved during
Hurricane’s Rita and Katrina in 2006. In order to operate
effectively, the team must be completely self-sufficient.
Amongst the teams significant cache of equipment are 3 large tents,
which can operate as field hospitals. These units are utilized
as Casualty Collection Points (CCP’s). Each CCP has the
capability of treating 10 patients laying on cots. The CCP’s
can also be utilized as housing for ST-1 Personnel.

Held the 4th Monday of every month at
5:30pm
Main Station, Swiss Alpine Village
